Your genome, your microbiome, and, collectively, your phenome represent a new asset class. This asset accelerates precision medicine and drives the biotech economy. Today, D2C (direct-to-consumer) genomics companies, big pharma, and governments own your biological digital twin. We are building a digital community, governed by shared-value protocols, to establish property rights for personal biology and transparent incentivize stake-in-the-game biomedical research.

Your Bento Biological Digital Twin will be a pseudo-anonymous collection of your data that can be “minted” as a blockchain asset. You will have full rights to access and delete the data as you see fit.

Using our Bento Biology Box, you can start to build your Biological Digital Twin by collecting samples via the self-service biosampling tools in the kit. The biological data created by your samples will become a digital asset, which can be enriched with phenotype data as well as subjective data collected from daily symptom reporting on our Bento Flare mobile application. Through the mobile application, you will also be incentivized to provide data through rewards for completing actions, such as taking samples and reporting symptoms.

When enough data has been collected downstream, these Biological Digital Twins can become yield producing assets. Research institutions and pharmaceutical companies looking to analyze past data will be able to purchase access to these datasets, which will automatically pay the owners of the twins (yourselves), driving value for the data owner, the research entity, and, of course, Bento Biology.
